Equipment Management

Track and manage company equipment assignments with CitoHR.

CitoHR's Equipment Management feature allows organizations to track equipment assignments, monitor equipment status, and manage returns. Both employees and administrators can view and manage equipment through dedicated interfaces.

Equipment Overview

The equipment page displays all equipment items assigned to you. The page shows statistics about your assigned equipment, including total equipment items assigned, equipment by status (Active, Returned, etc.), and equipment value.

Equipment Tracking

Track all company equipment with detailed information:

  • Equipment name and description
  • Equipment type and category
  • Serial numbers for identification
  • Purchase date and value
  • Current assignment status
  • Assignment history

Equipment List

The equipment list displays all items assigned to you with the following information:

  • Equipment Name - Name or description of the equipment
  • Type - Equipment type (e.g., Laptop, Phone, Monitor)
  • Serial Number - Equipment serial number for tracking
  • Assigned Date - When the equipment was assigned to you
  • Status - Current status (Active, Returned, etc.)
  • Value - Equipment value

Equipment Assignment (Administrators)

Administrators can assign equipment to employees with:

  • Assignment date tracking
  • Expected return date (if applicable)
  • Assignment notes and conditions
  • Automatic notifications to employees

Returning Equipment

When you no longer need assigned equipment, you can request to return it. Click the "Return" button next to the equipment item. The return request will be sent to administrators for processing.

Administrators can process returns with return request tracking, return date recording, equipment condition assessment, and status updates. Once a return is processed, the equipment status will be updated to "Returned" and it will be removed from your assigned equipment list.

Equipment Details

Click on an equipment item to view detailed information, including full equipment description, assignment history, maintenance records, and return date (if applicable).

Equipment Reports

Generate comprehensive equipment reports including:

  • Equipment allocation by department
  • Return status tracking
  • Equipment costs and value
  • Assignment history
